Rohail Nazir-led Pakistan Shaheens did their first training session ahead of the Darwin tournament in Australia.
Under the supervision of the coaching staff, the young players did batting, bowling, and fielding drills.
The team reached Australia on Thursday. They took a rest before coming out for training today.
NTC side, NT Strike, Pakistan Shaheens, Australian Capitol Territory’s ACT Comets, Melbourne Stars, Melbourne Renegades and Papua New Guinea (PNG) will feature in the six-team tournament.
The event will be played in the T20 format with the top-two sides advancing to the final.
Shaheens will also take part in two 50-over cricket matches against PNG and NT Strike on August 8 and 9, respectively.
